About this tour

One-day tour to Listvyanka for everybody who wants to see Lake Baikal and does not have much time for that. Its real highlight available only during winter time is dog-sledding center with always happy-to-run "Siberian" husky. We will also visit ethnographic and architecture museum of Talsy, a real Siberian village, gathered from different parts of Baikal region. We will see the lake from the viewing point, discover its legends and stories. We will visit the old wooden Orthodox church, the only one married couples during Soviet Union times. After that we will visit fish and crafts market.

Shaman Rock, visit the viewing platform

Shaman Rock (or stone) is a special stone in the middle of the Angara river headwaters, flowing from Lake Baikal. Here we will tell you stories dedicated to this special place.

Visit to dog-sledding center

You will have a 5-km ride, which will give us great feelings and emotions. It could be extended, just let us know in advance.

Visit omul-fish market

We will see how Omul (Baikal salmon) is smoked, and buy, if you want.

Free time: fish, souvenir and crafts market

We will have some time for private conversation with the lake. Everybody understands it specially, it could be shore walks, skating and exploring magical blue ice. Or swimming in an ice hole ;)

We will depart from central part of the town
